Ebb and flow. A back and forth. A little and a lot. An empty and a full. Just like the sea, it is also in my life. An up and a down. A too little and a too much. And this coming and going - that is me. I always was and I always will be. I recognize that more and more.
I painted this picture after our vacation in Grado. The ebb and flow there in Italy was so fascinating to me. The sandbars that form in the middle of the sea, the same beach that can change so with the tides.
