Frequently asked questions

Here I have summarized the most frequently asked questions. If your question is not answered here, feel free to email me!

Did you study art?

Yes, I studied Studio Art for a year at Rollins College in Florida and refined my techniques in a semester of art therapy and architecture as well as many portrait and nude courses in Vienna and Prague. The Malort training in Paris with Arno Stern also had a strong influence on me.

What kind of training have you done in general?

I am a very curious person and have pieced together my own education according to my many interests. After studying architecture for one semester, I completed a bachelor's degree in communications in Vienna and Hawai'i. After that, I was able to study Studio Art and Journalism in Florida for a year on a Fulbright scholarship. Back in Vienna, I completed a master's degree in business management and studied art therapy for a semester at the same time. Then in Paris I completed the Malort training with Arno Stern. From my interest in the human psyche and body I also completed a dance and movement pedagogy training, a coaching training and the elementary pedagogy training.

Have you always worked as an artist?

Yes, but not only. I have been selling my art since I was 19 years old. In addition, I have completed my various training and worked in the communications industry in various agencies and companies and in the interior design industry. For example, I was the marketing manager of an international start-up and from a young age I worked in the family business, a concept store for natural stone, porcelain stoneware and parquet. Shortly before I decided during my pregnancy to build up the SCHUBERT GALLERY and to concentrate exclusively on my art, I worked for two years as an individual promoter in a kindergarten.

How can I better imagine your art in my space?

You are welcome to send me a frontal photo of your desired wall with the exact dimensions by e-mail. I'll be happy to create free photo montages with my artwork. So you can see how my art actually looks size-wise on your wall. Of course, colors may vary slightly on different screens. But so far all customers who have ordered my art online have been very satisfied and there has not been a single return. I'm also happy to offer you the opportunity to view my painting directly on your wall via virtual reality, or I'll be happy to send you a video of my artwork. Feel free to contact me what you need for your decision.

Can I have your artwork framed by you as well?

Because of my limited time resources, I do not offer a framing service. I have found that my clients love to choose their own custom picture frame or shadow gap frame to match their decor at their local frame store. Some of my clients also hang artwork stretched with canvas on stretcher bars directly on the wall without an additional frame.
